V. Announcements:

A. Bill Shaw from COG made a presentation on NIMS. He stated we need to adopt NIMS
   into each association.  You can get on the Forrest Service web page @ IS700 and
   take the NIMS class.  Bill Shaw is going to do a "how to" disc to play with
   before you actually get into the system. Depts have to be NIMS compliant before
   Oct 2006.

B. Letters of resolution were handed out to all depts present, These letters need
   to be approved by your dept and returned to COG, and a copy needs to stay on
   file at your dept,  also, your city must must have a resolution seperate from
   the fire dept.

C. TRRN- gives a list of equipment in everyone's dept.  You have to show the
   equipment that you get or have already recieved from homeland security monies.
   There will be a computerized system of all fire equipment.  There will also be
   names and numbers of the people authorized to send the equipment.

D. Midland College will be offering a free TRRN training.  class is either Nov
   26th or 28th.  Not for sure which day. You can call 672-8544 for Bill Shaw or
