IV. Treasurers Report: CD:$4512.79       Checking :$1453.00 



V. Announcements:

A. Merkel will be having their haunted house October 21,22 and 29,30 & 31.  Cost
   is $5.  Proceeds go to the Merkel VFD.

B. SFFMA Midwest Fire Conference will be held in Snyder, Oct 8.  Training from 9-11.
   Business meeting @ 1330 with pumper races to follow.  Training: $0, Meals: $20/males
   $10/females (includes lunch and dinner)

C. Fisher County Chamber of Commerce will be having a fair and concert Oct 15.  Singer
   Gary P. Nunn will play that evening.  Cost for the concert is $15/Adv and $20 at
   the gate.  There will also be free airplane rides for kids and also a cook off.

D. Hawley will be having a Brisket supper. Time and cost TBA.

E. Mineral Wells Fire School will be held Oct 15 & 16.  Training will include live
   burns.

F. Stamford Wildland School will be held in March.  More info to come.
