Les - Amarillo had a LODD. 24yo firefighter was killed when the door on the apparatus he was riding in came open, causing him to fall out. Please keep them in your prayers. B. Nick - Literature "Living with Fire" available for your communities. See Nick. Fire Reporting is now online through the TFS website. There is also a link on the BCFFA website. Please fill out after every fire. These reports affect money coming into Texas from the government. USFS audit of the TFS is on hold. TFS will continue with annual inspections. P3 Orion crashed last week while practicing. Planes may be grounded again. C. Goodfellow AFB will be holding a Fire/Rescue Exposition on May 14. D. Merkel will be holding a Rabies Clinic May 7, 1:30-3:30. $10/pet. E. Key City Amature Radio Club will be holding a flea market May 7 at the Civic Center. VI. Old Business A. NONE VII. New Business A. Steve C. mentioned having training every other month for hands-on experience. Training would be good towards certification. Suggestion made to setup a committee to assist Steve in getting the training setup (Steve, John Knear, Terry Armstrong, Chad). Next months meeting will be training at the Merkel Heritage Club.
