V. Announcements:

A. Ken Dozier, Chief, Abilene Fire Department visited with the members.  Discussed
   Abilene training that is open to all volunteer firefighters.  E-mails will be
   sent out for upcoming classes.  Also discussed the Abilene training grounds; pit
   fires are on hold until the pit area is refurbished.

B. There will be a workshop to discuss some of the changes coming
   to radio systems.  Workshop will be held Mar 6 at the COG building.  All depts
   are encouraged to send a rep.  FMI, contact Bill Shaw.

C. Tye's cascade system is up and running.  Anyone needing bottles filled can contact
   Shawn Hicks or Don Cobb.

D. There will be an ECA class in Potosi.  FMI, contact Aaron Maxwell at 1401@potosivfd.com

E. If anyone is planning to attend the Texas A&M Fire School this summer, you need to make
   reservations now.  Lodging will be very limited around the area due to other events.

F. Traffic Safety Class is coming up in March.  Please sign up through the website.
