III. Minutes from last meeting:

A. None - No quarum


IV. Treasurers Report: CD $4512.79 Checking : 1514.30


V. Announcements:

A. Get your grant applications into the TFS for fire schools...lots of money
   going to waste

B. There is a new way to report fires online through the TFS website.  Nick
   will discuss it with us at the next meeting

C. Trent is having a Varmont Hunt Sat and Sun, Feb 26 and 27.  Sign-in before
   1200 at the fire station.  Varmonts must be weighed in before 1200 on Sun.
   At least 1 team member MUST have a trappers license

D. Trent will be holding a chili supper on Mon Feb 21, 1700-until gone, located
   at the Assorted Nuts Cafe in Trent.  Cost is donation.

E. Upper Leon Fire School in Feb has been moved to Cisco Junior College (in Cisco).
   $10/half day.

F. Stamford Wildlands School is Mar 19.  Register at fire station at 0700.  Classes
   start at 0830.  Cost is $30.  Presented by the TFS.

G. SKYWARN class is Feb 26 at ACU

H. FEMA Grant Writing Class is Feb 26 at 1300 at the Anson Library.

I. Lake Whitney Fire School is Feb 19

J. Wolfford Rescue School is Feb 5

K. A&M Spring Fire School is in Mar (no exact date available)

L. Chalk Bluff Vehicle Extrication School is Mar 11-12


VI. Old Business

A. Caps - Discussed 3 options; motion made to order 2dz flame caps and 2dz black caps.
   Recinded motion in order to motion to buy caps.  Motion made to buy/not buy
   caps, Terry 2nd; 12-1 in favor of ordering caps - carried.  Motion made to vote on
   one type of cap or two, View 2nd; 8-7 in favor of one type - carried.
   Motion made by Merkel to go with black/red style hat, 2nd by Hawley - carried.  Motion
   made to order 2dz caps by Merkel, Trent 2nd - carried.  Motion made to add $1 to cap
   total for BCFFA from members - carried.  Question raised about copyright on BCFFA logo;
   there is currently no copyright on BCFFA logo.


VII. New Business

A. Officer Elections

   1. Nominations for President; Don Russom and Wyatt Oakley.  Motion to cease by Trent,
      2nd by View - Don Russom elected
   2. Nominations for Vice-President; Gary Armstrong.  Motion to cease by Roby, 2nd by
      Merkel - Gary Armstrong elected
   3. Nominations for Secretary; Shawn Hicks.  Motion to cease by Roby, 2nd by Roscoe -

   4. Nominations for Treasurer; Paula King.  Motion to cease by Buffalo Gap, 2nd by
      ECCA - Paula King elected
