Meeting:

I. Call meeting to order



II. Roll Call: Merkel, Buffalo Gap, ECCA, View, Trent, Roby, TFS, Hamby, Potosi,
    Stamford, Mulberry Canyon, Tye


III. Minutes from last meeting: Merkel motion to accept, Tye seconds



IV. Treasurers Report: CD:$4626.59       Checking :$1368.69
    $240.00 paid towards tower rental for BCFFA repeater



V. Announcements:

A. LEPC now routing HAZMAT around Abilene.  Starts 27 Jan 06.

B. Hazard radios now going out.  They are similar to weather radios, except they will
   broadcast local emergency information such as HAZMAT incidents.

C. TFS - 24hr dispatch will continue untl further notice.  Call Les or dispatch at
   676-5827 for assistance.  Be sure to use TX Fire 1 to communicate with aircraft, TFS.
   Several area departments still not reporting fire calls on the TFS website.  Link to
   the reports page is listed on the BCFFA website.  If you are not reporting, get your
   account setup ASAP and start reporting.  If you are already reporting, you may get
   reimbursed for damages on fire calls through FEMA.

D. Stamford/Cisco fire schools will be held Feb 25 06.  There will be no burning due to
   current fire danger.  Cisco school will offer NIMS training.

E. SKYWARN class will be Feb 25 06 at ACU.

F. Gary Y. handed out "Emergency Response to Terrorism".  Please contact Gary if you
   did not receive a copy.

G. Byron B. handed out flyers for bunker gear repairs.  Cost is free.

H. TFS - Les stated you can fuel your departments trucks through TXDOT if coming off a
   large fire.  Please contact TFS to coordinate refueling before heading to TXDOT shops.
   If you have a pump or tank thats broke, you can apply for an emergency grant through
   the TFS.
